LOVE LOVED LOVED pineapple and pomegranate!! Chobani has a really great, thick consistency and flavor. It’s super filling and has tons of protein. The pineapple has 13 grams!
Here’s some other good info, from their website:
All natural. No preservatives. No artificial flavors.
No synthetic growth hormones: No rBST-treated milk.
Includes 5 live & active cultures, including 3 probiotics.
Made with real fruit.
Twice the protein of regular yogurts.
A good source of bone-building calcium.
Gluten-Free and Kosher-Certified.
Safe for people with corn, nut and soy allergies
The only bummer for me at the moment is the sugar content in the flavored versions. I wish it were a bit lower, but I figured out a way to get the flavor with a few less sugar grams… I mix it! I’ve been splitting each cup into two, then mixing in some plain. Bob and I have been sharing this way and it’s really been working out because we also both got to try each flavor.
The website also has a ton of recipes, which I love. My new favorite way to use plain Chobani – in place of sour cream on tacos or baked potatoes.
Beyond all this good stuff… Chobani is a company that gives back. They have donated $50,000 to Haiti relief, and they give 10% of profits to charities…. one of which is “Swim Across America”, “dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research, prevention and treatment through swimming - related events”. I’m no swimmer, but I appreciate anyone trying to raise money for cancer research, prevention and treatment.
So… you want to win your own sample of the good stuff? Chobani has agreed to give a way a “CHO-case” to one of my readers! Sorry, International peeps... the only restriction is that you must live in the U.S.
Here’s how to enter:
