Udi's Artisan Granola and Udi's Gluten Free Granola
My friend Julie has been on the hunt for the perfect granola since I met her. What makes a perfect granola? One that’s not coated in sugar, chemical free, low in calories and of course tastes good.
Can you imagine how envious she was when Udi’s sent me an awesome selection of granola to sample and review? Don’t worry, I shared :)
They sent me:
- Original
- Vanilla
- Au Naturel
- Hawaiian
- Cranberry
- Banana Berry
The top two favorites: hands down, Banana Berry and Hawaiian.
Udi’s granola is sweetened with wildflower honey. The ingredients are recognizable. Ingredients like rolled oats, bananas, strawberries, cranberries, cashews, vanilla, walnuts.
The most common way for Bob and I to enjoy our Udi’s is to sprinkle it either on our morning oatmeal, or on Greek yogurt with berries and a little agave.
Heather from Udi’s also sent me some gluten free samples! I have two good friends with Celiac and I was so happy to send them my samples to review. I’m happy to report that they are in love!
Wendie’s comment:
“#@$% amazing”
Jone’s, slightly more detailed review ;-):
“I am addicted to the Udi's Cranberry Gluten-Free Granola! Since I started chemo for my cancer food choices have been challenging as often I do not feel like eating, or tastes of food are "off". I am a vegetarian and have Celiac disease. The texture and flavors of the Udi's granola are always welcome in my daily diet. I eat it each morning with whole milk. My snacks get creative as a roll cream cheese in balls then coat them with the Udi's granola - delicious! I incorporate it in my Greek yogurt for the ultimate smooth/crunchy meal. Thank you Udi's! You are a daily part of my much needed nutrition --Jone Victoria”
Udi's also makes a nice selection of other gluten free foods, such as bread, muffins, cinnamon rolls, pizza crusts and bagels. And if you're ever in Denver, check out Udi's cafe's and restaurants!
The verdict: Udi's remains in the rotation, for sure! I even saw some vanilla granola in Whole Foods!

I actually purchased the Hawaiian flavored at Dave's Market last week. I'm in loovvee with it! The flavors just blend perfectly together. I was unsure about purchasing it, I thought it was going to super sweet and sugary. I was delightfully surprised! I want to thank you Udi's Astisan Granola: Hawaiian for joing me on my quest to fit back into my pants!
